There is a rumor that winter is a great time to visit Moab. Shhh! Those of us who live here take comfort in having our little town and beautiful hiking trails almost to ourselves. The streets are quiet. We can turn left while the light is still green and even park on Main Street in front of the gallery! But it can get a little lonely sitting the gallery. So please wander in and see what is new.
In January, we are having a member show. We will be featuring a “Winter in Moab” themed show of new work by our own artists. Mark your calendar! Come out and enjoy a light dinner on January 12th from 4 pm to 6 pm to view the show and enjoy visiting with your neighbors and the artists.
Gallery Moab, located at 87 North Main Street, will be open in January from 10 am to 6 pm every day except for New Year’s Day, and 3 days - the 14th through the 16th to do some house-keeping. All other days you will find one of our artists manning the store, ready to share their art and that of their fellow artists. Take some time to enjoy our quiet corner. And be sure to mention you read about Gallery Moab in Moab Happenings.

BUILDING COMMUNITY THROUGH THE ARTS
Our Mission is to enrich, empower and support Moab Artists and to build community through the arts.
Gallery Moab is a cooperative gallery founded by a group of local artists. We are a diverse group of award winning painters, sculptors, ceramicists, photographers and jewelry designers. The magnificence of the towering cliffs, snowcapped mountains, vast open spaces and the mysterious hidden canyons of the Colorado Plateau, inspire our creativity and artistic vision. You owe it to yourself to discover the artistic side of Moab. Come in and visit with the artists. One of us is there every day and we look forward to sharing the beauty of Canyon Country and the creativity of its artists. |
