Moab Zumba® Fitness: Offering 3 varieties of Zumba®!
Let’s face it, working out can be healthy, rewarding and beneficial but rarely is it known to be exhilarating…UNTIL NOW!
Zumba® combines the laws of aerobics with the laws of interval training for what is called “intermitten training”. The routines feature fast and slow rhythms to bring your heart rate up and down. Before participants know it they are getting fit and their energy levels are soaring! Zumba® is designed for folks of all fitness levels. Zumba® has helped melt pounds and inched off more than 10 million Zumba® enthusiasts in over 110 countries!
Moab Zumba® instructor Sandi Snead has been a dancer all of her life and Zumba® is something she is extremely passionate about. “Zumba® has had a profound effect on my life and my goal is to share those possibilities with others!” Besides completing and becoming licensed to teach Zumba Basics® 1&2 trainings, Snead has also been licensed to teach Aqua Zumba® and Zumba Toning®.
The Zumba® program fuses hypnotic Latin and International rhythms and easy-to-follow moves to create a one-of-a-kind fitness program that will blow you away! Zumba® makes you feel good and you don’t realize you are working out! Combined with a reasonable diet it can have astonishing results. Participants can burn up to 1000 calories in one hour long class depending on their fitness levels and intensity put forth. AQUA ZUMBA® (known as the Zumba® “pool party”!)
Aqua Zumba® gives new meaning to the idea of an invigorating workout. Integrating the Zumba® formula and philosophy with traditional aqua fitness descriptions, Aqua Zumba® blends it all together into a safe, challenging, water-based workout that’s cardio conditioning, body-toning and super fun! Participants are in chest high water that maximizes the resistance of the water-based moves. Aquatic shoes are recommended. Class times and locations will be announced at a later date. When it comes to body sculpting Zumba Toning® raises the bar (or toning sticks)! It combines targeted body sculpting exercises and high-energy cardio work with familiar Latin inspired Zumba® moves to create a calorie torching strength training fitness class. Students use either 1-3 pound hand-held weights or Zumba Toning® sticks to tone target zones including arms, abs, gluts and thighs. Zumba Toning® is a perfect way for Zumba® enthusiasts to sculpt their bodies naturally while having a total blast! Classes begin in mid April. Visit Moab Zumba® on facebook for updates!
